Fleur de Miraval ER 5

In 2025 January i published a tier video (watch below) where I rated the Fleur de Miraval Champagne. It was my honest an very brutal view of the cuvée and also stating why I’ve never tasted it.

Couple of weeks later I got the most kind message from Alexis Blondel who is the chef de cave adjoint of Fleur de Miraval, kindly and very politely pointing out the errors in my statement. Inviting me to visit Fleur to taste and discover what is Fleur.

In summer 2025 we connected again as schedules were tight he sent me sample bottles to taste and we had a hour long video call explaining how the cuvée is made and why it’s special. I became very curious of the content of the bottle as I then finally understood why it was so special.

The truth for me is always within the bottle and I fell in love with Fleur de Miraval when tasting it for the first time. In October 2025 I visited Alexis in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Champagne tasted the full range of Fleur from ER1 to the latest release of ER4. During the year we also became good friends with Alexis.

And as of 2026 I’m are doing events together with Fleur. I wish to share my love Fleur with Champagne lovers in Finland and around the world by creating events and videos.
