I’m a Champagne Expert specialised in Mature Champagnes and Artisan Champagnes. 🥇Award Winning Writer🥇. My knowledge is gained the old traditional way, by drinking with people of knowledge; chef-de-caves, winemakers, masters of wine and purist connoisseurs around the world. Wisdom gained from within the bottles experienced.

I’ve tasted only about 4000 different Champagnes as I have focused my drinking on the Prestige Cuvées, Mature Champagnes and Artisan Champagnes. Repeating the experiences I love to drink, example I’ve drank the Dom Pérignon 1985 over 50 times since 2010 following its progress. Besides Champagne I love to drink Bourgogne and always when traveling I explore the local wines of the region.

I’ve been drinking Champagne for over 24 years. In 2010 I dived deeply into Mature Champagnes, couple of years later another deep dive into, this time into Artisan Champagnes. My skill has always been that I find the bottles, as it is really hard to talk about wine if you don’t have the bottles. I’ve wrote the book on Dom Pérignon (2024). Over a decade ago I lived for 2,5 years in Reims, Champagne. On my journey teaching hundreds of people to understand and drink Mature and Artisan Champagnes I’ve always been repeating the same things, from basics to the detailed knowledge. Now I decided to make all my knowledge available simply as a MasterClass (coming soon). People can learn more in the simplest way possible.

On Internet I am known as Edward of Champagne as I create content on drinking fine and rare wines to YouTube in the long form videos and short form video series to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube shorts.
